The maximum supply of 3 million FISH is expected to be hit in the early days of August, here’s an APPROXIMATIVE block countdown. So, ~30 days from now. How are we preparing for it?
New UI 🎨

We’re excited to finally ditch the forked PancakeSwap User Interface and have an identity of our own. We hired some very talented designers from Design House Inc for our new UI, we wanted it to be as attractive as possible.
We know it can be difficult to some first-time users to set things up and start using our platform; so one of our goals is to make make PolycatFinance truly user-friendly.
Of course, since it’s a new UI being built from scratch, it takes time to implement and connect components, porting stuff to React and testing (lots of testing).
Deposit Fees 💸
As FISH approaches its 3 million max. supply, users will have less time to make their initial 4% deposit fee back which wouldn’t be fair for those staking later or newcomers and we don’t want to leave anyone behind.
We have therefore decided to lower the deposit fees on non-native pools (native pools are already at 0%) like so:

What happens next?
- 🗣 Governance: FISH becomes a governance token to vote on platform changes. This also means that the more FISH you hold, the more your vote will weigh when it comes to making community decisions for Polycat.
- 💰 Dividends: The money we currently use to burn FISH will instead be redistributed to FISH owners (you don’t need to hold it in your wallet to get your dividends, even if it’s deposited, you’ll earn).
- 🤝 Collaborations: This is already happening and it will not stop happening, IFOs, Fish Tanks, and other forms of partnerships are part of the plan.
- 🎢 In-house AMM: We haven’t stopped working on our own AMM. Several different features will be delivered along with the AMM…
As always, there’s more we cannot talk about yet.
We cannot believe it’s almost been 2 months since we launched, and we’re extremely proud of what we’ve built so far.
